Collections & Deliveries

As has been our way for years, we open from 7am, Monday to Saturday. We accept orders online, over the telephone or over the counter in the shop. If you order online, you will be required to state when you want to collect (or have delivered), your produce. We normally recommend ‘next day’ but if you are desperate, please contact us and we will always try to accommodate you.

Village Butchers have been providing doorstep deliveries for years, up to 20 miles from our base in Tilehurst with our fleet of vans and drivers and whilst nothing has changed locally..

We have expanded..! and are now delivering nationwide through our nominated couriers. Orders received before 10am will be delivered next day anywhere in England, ensuring the freshness of your produce.

Cost of Delivery. We have always provided FREE delivery to local customers (within 20 miles).
This will not change.

Nationally, we charge just £12 for next day fresh deliveries except where orders exceed £100.. and delivery becomes FREE once again.

Free delivery/charged delivery is based on postcode. Everyone with an ‘RG’ postcode automatically qualifies for free delivery. The on-line shopping cart and checkout pages default to ‘free shipping’ so may change when you input your postcode.

If your postcode hasn’t been included in our database as qualifying for free delivery, yet you live within a 20 mile radius of our Tilehurst shop, please contact us and we will be happy to add it in.
